DESCRIPTION:The community is invited to the 2017 Bothell City Council Candidates Forum. This is a free public non-partisan event. Candidates running for election are invited to communicate their stances regarding issues that affect the Bothell community\, and their qualifications and experience for the positions they seek to hold. This is an opportunity for the public to get to know candidates.\n\n\n\nCandidates:\n\n\n\nCity of Bothell\, Council Position 1\n\nJeanne Zornes\n\n\n\nCity of Bothell\, Council Position 3\n\nVicki Somppi\n\nRosemary McAuliffe\n\n\n\nCity of Bothell\, Council Position 5\n\nLiam Olsen\n\nJeremy B. Michel (unable to attend this event)\n\n\n\nCity of Bothell\, Council Position 7\n\nThomas E. Agnew\n\nAaron Moreau-Cook\n\n\n\nFormat: The event will be moderated by Dr. Eric Murray\, President of Cascadia College\, and is hosted by the Greater Bothell Chamber of Commerce. Candidates will be given an opportunity to provide a brief opening and/or closing statement\, as well as equal time to respond to specific questions. Questions will be prepared in advance\, be presented by the moderator\, and will not be shared with anyone outside of the hosts prior to the event.\n\n\n\nQuestions: The public is invited to submit questions.\n\nQuestions must be submitted in writing via mail or email prior to the event no later than October 18\, 2017.
