DESCRIPTION:Join Friends of North Creek Forest volunteers at Alexa's Cafe on Wed\, September 18 for a delicious dinner\, drinks\, dessert or a snack!  Alexa's will graciously donate a portion of your bill to support the ongoing North Creek Forest education\, research and stewardship programs!  \nRSVP online appreciated: https://tockify.com/northcreekforest/detail/77/1568851200000\n\n\n\nWe're excited to share about the thriving FNCF education program! More than 400 unique K-12 grade students from more than ten public and private schools in the region have experienced FNCF education curriculum during the 2018-19 school year - learning about water quality testing\, stewardship of the environment\, biodiversity\, non-native/invasive vs. native plant species\, plant/tree identification and more! They have explored\, stewarded\, researched and learned the history of the North Creek Forest! Some students have returned to the NCForest several times in keeping with the NGSS Science curriculum - for a grand total of more than 1\,000 student visits!\n\n\n\nNEW!!!! 50/50 Raffle! $5 per ticket Winning ticket to be drawn on Sat\,\,October 19th (@ Cairn Brewing in Kenmore). Winner to receive 50% of the pot! Need not be present to win. \n\n\n\nThanks for supporting education\, restoration and research programming in North Creek Forest! We're maintaining a healthy forest while learning and teaching all we can from this resilient\, natural resource right here in Bothell.\n\nThanks much to Alexa's Cafe for supporting Friends of North Creek Forest!
