DESCRIPTION:Heroes for Health is about celebrating the health of our community. Be a Hero for Health and walk or run with your friends and family at the 5th Annual HealthPoint Family 5k for a day of fun and fitness. Adults\, children\, and dogs are welcome.\n\n\n\nArrive early for an autograph and photo with Blitz\, Seattle Seahawks Mascot\n\n10:00 am start time for runners and walkers (walkers and strollers will follow runners)\n\nWe encourage you to dress up as your favorite superhero\n\nParticipants receive a free shirt (register by May 6)\n\nDogs receive a special treat!\n\nPost-race food\, live music\, kids' activities\, and more!\n\n\n\nHealthPoint is a 45-year-old nonprofit organization delivering quality health care services throughout King County. Proceeds from the event benefit HealthPoint's non-profit medical and dental centers dedicated to providing expert\, high-quality health care to all - because everyone deserves great care.\n\n\n\nThis year a portion of each registration will be donated to Northshore Schools Foundation to further their mission to enrich and extend students' educational experiences through fitness and health.\n\n\n\nCorporate sponsors and volunteers are always welcome. Call 425-203-0447.\n\nEvent details and schedule\n\n\n\nStart at 10:00am at 10414 Beardslee Blvd: head west on Beardslee (Main St.) to downtown Bothell\; left on 102nd to the cloverleaf to join the Sammamish River Trail. Course is out and back.\n\n\n\nWe welcome participants of all abilities. This event is accessible to all levels\, ages\, and groups. It is a family affair: bring grandma\, the kids\, the dog\, and your tennis shoes!\n\n\n\n\n\nA portion of the proceeds of this event go to benefit the Northshore Schools Foundation M.i.l.k. Money & Health initiatives.
