DESCRIPTION:The Homebrewer Specialty: \n\nLearn To Brew Porters & Stouts!\n\n\n\nJoin us Sunday\, March 3rd 10:00 a.m.   2:00 p.m. \n\n@ Cairn Brewing in Kenmore\, WA\n\n\n\nWhen in doubt\, brew a Stout! Join local Pro Brewer/Homebrewer Jesse Young for a Special Class on Porters & Stouts. This full comprehensive class is focused solely on Porters & Stouts\, their various styles\, and tips on choosing the right ingredients in order to brew a great batch every time! In addition\, we'll taste some popular styles to help you learn about the vast spectrum of these beers. A great class for everyone including non-brewers and homebrewers alike!\n\n\n\nDuring this class\, we'll brew a batch of beer so you can visually see the process from beginning to end. Utilizing the Abrosis 3-Tier Brewing System we will mash\, boil\, and chill an all-grain 5 gallon batch of beer with Q & A throughout the live demonstration. The focus will be on the basics of brewing\, along with some "tips" to help the first timer avoid common brewing mistakes. In addition\, we'll venture through the vast history of Stouts & Porters and learn how these beer styles almost disappeared completely!\n\n\n\nThe non-refundable* cost is $45.00 per person.\n\nClass sizes are limited and advanced registration is required\, so please register prior to the day of class. \n\n*To ensure top-quality classes\, if the 10 person minimum enrollment is not met the day before the class is scheduled\, the class will be cancelled and a full refund will be issued.
