You’re invited to our fundraising committee Meeting for the 2016 Auction.
Located at the Village Street Cafe, Monday, September 19th, 11:30am-1:00pm.
This is an open meeting for all interested Chamber Members. At the meeting we will let you know what’s already in the works, what things the committee can help with and next steps for a successful event. Focus at this meeting will be on procurement and live auction item ideas.
The fundraising committee also includes discussing best auction practices, event theme, using member connections/resources efficiently, raffle and live auction items, how to involve new members, setting up times to help Chamber staff with procurement requests/mailings, coordinating/picking up donations, decorating gift baskets, day of event set-up, etc.
Save the Event Date: Our Greater Bothell Chamber Holiday Dinner & Auction will be Friday, November 18th, 6-9 PM, at the Rosewood Room, Country Village.
Exciting Announcements:
1) Banner Bank, via Chery Bosh, will be our event sponsor for the Auction.
2) Stefanie Wright from Forever Events as this year’s Fundraising/Auction Committee Chair.
Ball is Rolling:
- Auction location reserved, date set, catering reserved, 3 donations confirmed so far- woohoo!
Word’s Getting Out:
- We will be announcing the auction, asking for additional fundraising committee volunteers and the first official appeal for donations at the upcoming Chamber Luncheon, Sept. 14th and General Meeting, Sept. 22nd.
- Tickets will go on sale next week, Sept. 12th. They sell out every year!
