We will be joined by Chris Moore, the executive director for the Washington Trust for Preservation and Ron Wright, principal of Ron Wright Architects with over 20-years of historic preservation work. Both will be talking about the restoration and reuse of the Seminary at Saint Edward Lodge and historic preservation as a successful economic development tool and community catalyst. The Washington Trust has worked with the State Parks Commission on other adaptive reuse projects and Ron Wright is part of the Daniels Real Estate team for the $40-million dollar restoration of Seattle’s oldest downtown sanctuary. Both individuals are part of the design team for Saint Edwards Lodge and will be able to talk about the overall goals of the project and what it means for our greater community, while the project is still in the early planning stages.
