Ms. Tabor says: One of my favorite places to go even when I am not gigging is The Cottage in the heart of Bothell. The Cottage is a full-service restaurant specializing in local, farm-to-table fare on a rotating, seasonal menu. Almost everything is made in-house, and they frequently know the farm from which the ingredients hail! The full bar features a number of offerings from small, local purveyors including beer, wine, and craft cocktails. The Cottage prides themselves on customer service and aims to create an experience unlike anywhere else.
I will be joined by the wonderful Marco de Carvalho on the guitar. Marco is a Brazilian musician, originally from Rio de Janeiro (which dovetails perfectly with The Cottage's directly traded Brazilian coffee!). He graduated from the prestigious Music Conservatory of Rio de Janeiro under Juarez Carvalho and Sergio Vale. He studied composition and harmony under Luiz Eça and Ronaldo Miranda.
