About Us

Northshore Utility District (NUD) was established in 1947 as a special purpose government to provide drinking water and subsequently wastewater service along the North End of Lake Washington. NUD currently serves a population of over 85,000 people residing in the cities of Kenmore, Kirkland, Bothell, Lake Forest Park, and Woodinville.

In addition, NUD provides fleet services and partners in the provision of emergency management services with the City of Kenmore, Lake Forest Park and Northshore/Shoreline Fire Departments.
